Loops, guitars, tapes, voices, surface noise, incidental noise, accidental noise, drum machines, glitches, self-indulgence and self-deprication with a wry humour and a flair for melody; Yahweh is all of these things. The musical project of 20 year old Lewis Cook, Yahweh has carved its own niche with the debut album, ‘Tug of Love’ and subsequent exhaustive touring with a collective of musicians across the country from festivals to intimate house performances. After a suitable rest and time for contemplation, Yahweh returns with ‘Make Me Stop’.
